About Me

I am a licensed mental health counselor. I provide individual and group therapy. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy at this time. This allows you an opportunity to decide whether or not you feel comfortable with me as a therapist and to determine if my skills are appropriate to meet your needs.

I offer both short and long term treatment. An average length for short-term treatment is 1 to 6 sessions. Longer treatment may extend from 6 months to 1 year, or more depending on the degree of change you seek. You and I will regularly assess your progress and will modify treatment accordingly.

A significant portion of my practice focuses on working with sexually abused men and sexually addicted men, both individually and in-group treatment. However, my practice is not limited to this area. I also treat sexually abused women, families and loved ones of people with sexual abuse histories, and adults whose problems do not include a history of sexual victimization. Other issues treated include:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Survivors of car accidents and other physical trauma

  • Healing from shameful experiences
